Gallery wall measurement and layout tips
- Measure the open wall area, not just the full room wall. Record the top of nearby furniture and the edges of doors, windows, outlets, and thermostats.
- Use the outside width and height of each frame. A listed print size does not include the mat, molding, or gap between the print and frame.
- Choose a frame gap and apply it consistently where you want a tidy grid. For a more organic gallery wall, repeat a few alignments to keep the group connected.
- Treat the preview as a planning guide. Mark the outer corners with removable tape and check sight lines and clearances in the actual room before installing hardware.

No. This tool processes your photos locally in your browser. The current project and its images reset when you refresh or close the page.

Yes. Enter the wall dimensions and the outside dimensions of each frame to create a proportional plan. Camera overlay is a visual guide, while supported-device WebXR is experimental; always verify measurements on the real wall.
Which image formats can I add?
The planner accepts JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF images up to 15 MB each, with up to 24 photos in one wall project.
How much space should I leave between picture frames?
There is no single spacing that works for every wall. Use the gap controls to compare options, consider the scale of the frames and room, and confirm the result with removable tape before hanging.
